IT Asset Management
Know what you own, who has it, and what it's costing you.
Full IT asset management — hardware, licences, components and consumables — with check-out records, depreciation and automated lifecycle rules. Every asset links to the tickets raised against it, so an incident about a laptop already carries its warranty status, its owner and its history.
- Asset tag, serial number, model and warranty expiry together
- Who holds it, and the building, floor and room it sits in
- Supplier and purchase documents attached to the asset
- Configuration, relationships, history and financial tabs
The asset record
Everything about one machine, on one screen.
Most asset spreadsheets die because they only hold what someone remembered to type. An asset here carries its specification, its money, its owner and its dates — plus any custom fields you add.

Beyond hardware
The stuff that actually leaks money.
Laptops are the easy part. Unused software seats, consumables nobody reorders and components that vanish into machines are where the budget quietly goes.
Licences
Track software licences by seat count, key, cost and expiry. Assign individual seats to a person or a specific machine, and check them back in when someone leaves so you stop paying for seats nobody uses.
Consumables
Toner, cables, adapters — anything you issue and replace. Quantity in stock is tracked against a minimum threshold so you find out you're low before someone needs one.
Accessories
Keyboards, docks, monitors and headsets held as pooled stock, with quantities and low-stock thresholds rather than an individual record per unit.
Components
RAM sticks, drives and cards tracked as stock, then installed against the specific machine they went into — with quantity, install date and removal date.
Asset models
Templates that pre-fill a new asset: default warranty months, depreciation method and rate, and the standard OS, processor, RAM and storage for that model.
Custody
A dated record of who had what.
Issue an asset to an employee or an external contact with an expected return date. Every hand-over and return is recorded with who performed it and when — so when someone leaves, you know exactly what needs to come back, and when an auditor asks where a machine went, the answer is on the record rather than in someone's memory.
Lifecycle policies
Rules that fire on asset age, so nobody has to remember.
Build a policy once and attach it to an asset category. Each stage triggers after a set age — expressed in years and part years — runs its action and notifies the roles you choose. Every stage that fires is recorded against the asset, so the timeline is auditable rather than assumed.

Financials
Depreciation your finance team will accept
Set the depreciation method, useful life in years and salvage value per asset category, and track current value against original purchase cost. Because it is configured per category, a laptop and a server can depreciate on different schedules without anyone maintaining a parallel spreadsheet.
Connected to the desk
Assets and tickets are the same system
Link an asset to the incidents, problems, changes and service requests it is involved in, plus contracts and knowledge-base articles. A machine failing repeatedly reads as a pattern rather than five unrelated tickets — and when you retire it, you can see everything it ever caused.
Reporting
The numbers you get asked for at budget time.
Bringing an existing register across is a bulk Excel import rather than a re-keying exercise, so you can start from what you already have.
